Q) Block diagram of digital computer ?
Ans:  Computer: Computer is a Electronic device is used for arithmetic and logical operations. It is mainly used for to simplify our work. Computer can be divided into 3 parts they are 
1) Input 
2) Processing (CPU) 
3) Output 

Input: what ever may be given to the computer is called input. What are the devices used for input they are called input devices. Keyboard, mouse, scanner, joysticks are the examples for input devices. 

Output: what ever may be given by the computer to us called Output. What are the devices used for output they are called output devices. Monitors, speakers, printer are the examples for output devices. 

Central Processing Unit / Processing Unit (CPU) : it is the heart of the computer. All major operations are performed in this unit. This unit also sub divided into 3 types. 
They are 
 Arithmetic and Logical Unit (ALU) : it can perform all arithmetical operations like additions ,subtractions, divisions, multiplication and logical operations like comparisons. 

Memory Unit (MU) : memory unit stores the inside this unit. It can be divided into two types i.e primary Memory and Secondary memory. 

Control Unit (CU) : Control Unit controls all the parts of the computer.
